- Especially designed for analysis of corrosion products on membrane filters and ion exchange membranes (other sample types can be accommodated)
- Sample rotates under probe during analysis to average out any non-uniformity in the deposition on the filter surface
- No liquid nitrogen required: detector cooling is done electronically (Peltier technology). Liquid nitrogen is an operating expense, requires labor, and is a safety concern
